LONG LIVE CRIME
In 1999, artist RAYMOND PETTIBON and filmmaker & musician ANDREW TROY formed the art and music collaboration LONG LIVE CRIME.
Pettibon is widely recognized as one of the most influential artists to emerge from the Southern California punk movement, known for his iconic work with Black Flag, SST Records, and Sonic Youth, with artwork exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide. Troy is an award-winning director and musician, best known musically as a member of the seminal Los Angeles band POLARBEAR, whose albums “Why Something Instead of Nothing” and “Chewing Gum” were recently reissued by PIAPTK Records, twenty-five years after their original release.
Now, more than two decades later, the unseen artworks, writings, and unheard music created through LONG LIVE CRIME will finally be released in 2026.
